Founder | Behavioural Therapist | Career Guidance Coach
Welcome to Positive Ripples Counselling.
I’m Sheetal Vohra-Gulati, a certified behavioural
therapist, career coach, and the founder of Positive Ripples. With over 15 years of global
experience, my mission is to empower individuals and families with emotional wellness,
self-awareness, and purposeful direction.
I began my professional career in the corporate world, working in IT across India, Japan, and Singapore with reputed companies like Procter & Gamble. However, my passion for helping people led me to pursue a Master of Counselling from Monash University, Australia. Since then, I’ve committed myself to guiding people through life’s challenges with empathy and structured support.
Over the years, I’ve supported individuals, couples, and families dealing with anxiety, self-esteem issues, life transitions, and relationship concerns. My experience with the Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association (SANA) and Wings Counselling Centre enabled me to help vulnerable communities, especially ex-inmates and foreign families, rebuild their lives with strength and clarity.
My counselling practice extends to both personal therapy and workshops, offering one-on-one sessions and group interactions on parenting, adolescence, emotions, and self-care. I integrate Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and NLP techniques to foster meaningful change.
As a Certified Career Coach and Lead Partner of Career Naksha in Pune, I have guided hundreds of students from Grades 6 to 12 through psychometric testing, aptitude assessments, profile building, and university admissions. I collaborate with schools to deliver impactful sessions on career awareness, goal setting, and personality development.
My work with IB and CBSE schools also includes building strong student profiles for global undergraduate admissions, mentoring students through workshops, and preparing them for life beyond academics.
At Positive Ripples, I regularly conduct sessions for corporates, schools, and NGOs on themes like stress management, mental wellness, work-life balance, parenting, and adolescent development. I’ve led initiatives with organizations such as Families of Joy Foundation, spreading awareness about adoption in India, and created online series during the pandemic to support families with emotional wellbeing.
My workshops and webinars aim to build emotional intelligence, strengthen relationships, and encourage self-reflection across age groups and communities.
My teaching and counselling experience spans across India, Singapore, Vietnam, Nigeria, and Indonesia, working with multicultural communities and international schools. Volunteering remains close to my heart, with contributions to organizations like IWA Nigeria, Christina Noble Foundation Vietnam, USF Pune Chapter, and Lisha Women’s Wing Singapore.
I am a Life Member of the Counsellors Council of India (CCI) and the Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors Singapore (APACS). Every session is an opportunity to create a ripple—of hope, healing, and growth.
Let’s begin your journey towards clarity, purpose, and emotional well-being—together.
